Diet Smarter, Not Harder

Not only are the foods you eat important but also the frequency, amount and timing. It doesn’t take much change or effort to be met with success, all it takes is knowledge.

All the willpower in the world won’t help if you are missing major elements in your programme. Remember that diet is the single most important factor in your weight loss efforts. I learned this the hard way. Muscles burn more calories than fat - the first key to gaining muscle and losing fat is eating correctly.

When I say ‘eating correctly’, I mean not only the correct amount of calories, but also the correct amount of protein, fat and carbohydrates taken at the correct times. In the past, I would just skip over this part. It seemed too difficult to grasp. That was a mistake. Your diet is the single most important element of a successful fat loss programme. It should be geared to maximize fat loss, while minimising any muscle loss.

Eat More Frequently

While we know that missing meals will slow down or halt your progress, it is also logical to assume that adding meals will help to speed it up. The minimum amount you should be eating is four meals daily. This will help shift your metabolism into high gear!

Remember that your metabolism is the rate at which Your body burns calories. You definitely want to do everything you can to keep it increased and at its highest level. This is at the core of successful dieting.

This simple change is not hard at all. It is something you can add to produce dramatic results in your efforts to lose weight. Remember that the more changes you incorporate, the greater and faster your results will be!
